Building Brighter Futures (BBF) is a nonprofit rooted in our North Lawndale community, strengthened by the generosity of donors, volunteers and interns. Together, these partners help us continue the work that has uplifted North Lawndale families since 1961.

When you join the BBF family, you become part of a legacy of progress, helping youth and families unlock their potential and build brighter, more stable futures.

We’re looking for creative, compassionate and dedicated individuals who want to make a real impact. Whether you bring fresh ideas, positive energy or simply a willingness to help, your support can make a meaningful difference in our special events, after-school programs and community initiatives. Your involvement matters and you are welcome here. BBF offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities and internships for youth and adults of all ages.
